Marmot Basin

Marmot Basin is Edmonton’s closest mountain, and is an absolute gem of the Canadian Rockies.  Marmot has the highest base of any Canadian ski resort, and has a vertical drop of 915 m (3000 ft).  Averaging 400 cm of annual snowfall, Marmot has an easy time of keeping skiers and snowboarders happy all winter long.

Lift passes on sale in the Ski and Snowboard Club office for $55 (tax included).  Compare that to $76 + 5% GST on hill.
